AtmaPrana meditation sessions include Pranayama, Body Scan, Visualization and silence, and are designed for comfortable participation.
Pranayama, a set of conscious breathing exercises, prepares your mind and body for the meditation process. Conscious breathing leads you to inner stillness and allows you to focus on releasing tension and stress. It calms and centres your mind.
Body Scan draws your attention to different parts of your body. Using this awareness you consciously release muscle tension and discomfort and prepare your mind to relax and receive.
Visualization, the focusing on mental imagery, changes your flow of thought and emotional state. The guided imagery leads you to regeneration and healing.
These elements are carefully arranged to guide you towards clarity of thought, better focus, and greater self-awareness. The guiding voice of the facilitator and the calming and relaxing background music will transform your inner state to a feeling of wholesome wellness.
Regular meditation practice provides many health benefits, including improved sleep and concentration, lower stress levels, better relationships and in general a more positive outlook on life.
Our group sessions are ideal to enjoy meditating together with friendly, like-minded people.
A mattress, pillow and blanket are provided for your comfort.
